On 25 April 2026, the Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Insurance held a mentorship programme that gave AIN and DSBI students a valuable chance to learn from experienced alumni. This year, mentors came from a wide range of prestigious organizations, including HSBC, Census and Statistics Department, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, CTF Life, QBE, Deloitte, AIA, Sun Life, and other leading institutions. Their participation provided students with first-hand perspectives from global finance, government, insurance, and technology sectors. Students were paired with alumni based on their industry interests, creating a supportive environment for guidance and exchange.

The programme included a networking lunch, where participants talked, shared ideas, and gained practical career advice and insights into alumni career journeys. Students also learned about the latest industry trends, helping them stay informed and prepared for the future. In a relaxed and friendly setting, students built meaningful connections with successful alumni, expanded their professional networks, and strengthened ties between students and alumni across generations.
