The Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Insurance organized a workshop on 16 April 2026 titled “AI‑Powered Data Analytics and Business Presentation”. The session aimed to help students explore how artificial intelligence can support data analysis and enhance business communication.

During the workshop, the speaker explained the role of AI in data analytics, highlighted common ways students use these tools and their limitations, and demonstrated how Copilot can be used to explore datasets, generate questions, and create charts to visualize results. Students also learned how to organize insights into a structured narrative and prepare effective business presentations with AI support. The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of using AI critically and responsibly, encouraging students to validate AI‑generated findings and avoid over‑reliance.
