Dr Liu obtained his BSc and MPhil at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and his PhD at University of Rochester in New York, US. Before joining HSUHK, he was an Associate Professor at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, US.
Research Interests
- Differential geometry
- Mathematical physics and applications of techniques used in geometry and topology to other disciplines such as coding theory and data processing
