We are delighted to have Ms. Cathy Lin, CEO and Founder of Luminous Actuarial Consulting Limited as the guest speaker on 21 Nov 2024. This session focused on the Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) and its role in ERM and ORSA. Guided by the Group Head Office and reviewed annually, the RAF manages risks within acceptable levels. The session detailed the Risk Appetite Statement, risk monitoring, escalation, and integration into business processes like strategic planning and product development. The importance of tailoring ORSA reports to specific risk profiles was also discussed.
