On 7 October, Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Insurance organised an internship sharing for students of BSC (Hons) in Actuarial Studies and Insurance. Seven AIN students shared their valuable internship-related experience to BSC-AIN students, including internship memorable moments, inter-personal skills and multi-task management skills learned in the work place, as well as improved understanding of the professional knowledge. They also gave advice related to internship- hunting experience, CV preparation as well as interview skills to our students.

Our programme has strong industry connections and a lot of internship opportunities in insurance companies, banks, and regulatory body were offered to our students over past years, including Insurance Authority, AIA International Limited, Hang Seng Bank, Prudential Hong Kong Limited, Manulife (International) Limited, BOC Group Life Assurance Company Limited and so on.
