MonsoonSIM Enterprise Resource Management Competition (MERMC) is an annual inter-varsity competition hosted by MonsoonSIM and its partners with an objective to encourage students to learn and appreciate running and operating their own virtual business. Students in teams of 5 players from the same university were asked to run virtual companies by applying the concept of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to compete against one another for the highest business KPI targets.

The five-member Team NexTTrendyLeveL consisting of Mr. Wing-Kei Ng, Ms. Wai-Ting Lam, Ms. Ping Leung, Mr. Sing-Lik Tang and Ms. Lok-Sum To from BSC-DSBI programme was shortlisted as one of the top 10 teams from 30 teams in the first round and entered the Hong Kong Grand Final Round. With excellent planning and strategies, the team won the 2nd runner-up in Grand Final competition on 12 June 2021. The team has also been nominated as one of the five representative teams of Hong Kong and will compete in the MonsoonSIM International Grand Final (Online) Competition in November 2021.

The champion and the 1st runner-up went to Team Geni+us of BBA programme of HSUHK and the HKUST team respectively.
