Department Research Seminar on Advanced Topics in Data Science: Artificial Intelligence for a Better Future
The Department of Mathematics, Statistics and Insurance and IEEE Hong Kong Section Computer Society Chapter co-organised a research seminar titled “Advanced Topics in Data Science: Artificial Intelligence for a Better Future” on 23 November 2021.
We are delighted to invite Dr Mehmood Nawaz, Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Bio-Medical Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, to share his research topic in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Various aspects of this topic were discussed, including application with AI, common misconception and relation with Data Science, proposed techniques and their role in AI. Academic staff of the Department and students participated in the seminar and actively shared their views on the topic.
