On October 3, 2024, we proudly hosted the “Celebration Party cum MSI Welcoming Lunch” to honor the remarkable achievements of our BSc-DSBI Year 4 students—Lau Ngai Sang, Chan Ka Fai, and Sin King Hin—who emerged as champions in the prestigious Ernst & Young Open Science Data Challenge 2024.

This event was organized to commemorate this significant milestone and celebrate the students’ success in such a renowned international competition. The gathering welcomed Governors, Council Members, students from the MSI department, and colleagues from the SDSC, all coming together to recognize the hard work and dedication of the winning team.

The celebration not only acknowledged the winners but also strengthened the bonds among BSc-AIN and BSc-DSBI students, faculty, staff, and our distinguished leaders. It provided an invaluable opportunity for the winning team to share their journey and insights, fostering a sense of belonging and community at HSUHK. The event aimed to cultivate a supportive environment within the university, encouraging collaboration and camaraderie.
