BSc-DSBI Students Shine in AlipayHK UI Design Competition: Winning Second and Third Prizes!
Our BSc-DSBI Year 3 and Year 4 students excelled in the “AlipayHK ‘𝛂dvice’: University Student UI Design Competition and Summer Internship Program,” winning the second and third prizes! So Chi Pang (second prize) and Chan Ka Fai (third prize) competed against over 100 participants from various universities in Hong Kong, showcasing outstanding creativity and talent.

In the competition, So Chi Pang (Photo 1) designed innovative features for the AlipayHK app, including lightweight gamified tasks and auto-generated shareable images. On the other hand, Chan Ka Fai (Photo 2) proposed a fresh design concept and color scheme tailored to the usage habits and preferences of young customers, bringing new vitality to the AlipayHK app.
Both students will participate in a five-week summer internship program, during which they will visit Hangzhou for tours and exchanges, broadening their horizons and deepening their learning to lay a solid foundation for their future development.
