The SOA Professional Talk, organized by the BSc-AIN Programme, was successfully held on 27 November 2025. We were honored to host Dr. Wai Ling Yung (Head of Asia Engagement, SOA) and Ms. Saadiqa Akhtar (Manager, Asia Academic & Candidate Engagement, SOA), who provided an insightful introduction to the actuarial profession and the SOA qualification pathway. In addition, Mr. Adrian Yang, FSA (Senior Vice President & Co-head of Valuation, Peak Re) shared his valuable personal experience in pursuing the Fellowship designation, offering practical advice and tips to students. As a special highlight, a lucky draw was conducted, awarding two waivers for the registration fee of one SOA exam to the fortunate winners.
